1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using dealsecure.io, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our service.

2. Description of Service

dealsecure.io provides a startup directory and investor relations platform. Our services include: public startup profiles and directory listings, investor updates and communications, secure data rooms with cloud storage integration (Dropbox, SharePoint), document sharing with access controls and watermarking, analytics, and AI-powered assistance.

3. User Responsibilities

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• You must have the right to share any documents you add to a data room
• You agree not to use the service for any unlawful purpose
• You are responsible for compliance with applicable data protection laws

4. Data and Privacy

Your documents remain in your cloud storage provider. We do not store copies of your files. Our handling of your data is governed by our Privacy Policy.

5. Subscription, Payment, and Refunds

Subscription fees are billed monthly in advance. You may cancel your subscription at any time, effective at the end of the current billing period.

Refund Policy: If you are not satisfied with your purchase, you may request a full refund within 14 days of your initial subscription or renewal. Refunds are processed through our payment provider, Paddle, and will be issued to your original payment method.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or course of performance. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, dealsecure.io and its officers, directors, employees, agents, and affiliates shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or exemplary damages, including but not limited to damages for loss of profits, goodwill, data, or other intangible losses, resulting from: (a) your use or inability to use the service; (b) any unauthorized access to or alteration of your data; (c) any content or conduct of third parties on the service; (d) any information obtained from the service; or (e) any other matter relating to the service. This limitation applies regardless of the legal theory (contract, tort, strict liability, or otherwise) and even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. In jurisdictions that do not allow the exclusion or limitation of liability for consequential or incidental damages, our liability shall be limited to the maximum extent permitted by law. Our total liability for any claims arising from or related to the service shall be limited to a refund of the fees paid by you for the current monthly billing period.

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless dealsecure.io and its officers, directors, employees, agents, and affiliates from and against any and all claims, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from or related to: (a) your use of the service; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your violation of any rights of another party; or (d) any content you submit, post, or share through the service.

9. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Hamburg, Germany.
